Loving What Is: Experience The Work with Byron Katie in Tokyo!

       Byron Katie

In this workshop, with love, humor, and incisive clarity, Byron Katie will introduce you to the experience of The Work. The Work is a revolutionary way to identify and question the stressful thoughts and beliefs that cause us to suffer and keep us from awakening to the peace, joy and creativity that is our birthright as human beings.

Based on Byron Katie's direct experience of how suffering is created and ended, The Work is an astonishingly simple process, accessible to people of all ages and backgrounds, and requires nothing more than a pen, paper, and an open mind. Katie (as everyone calls her) not only shows us that all the problems in the world originate in our thinking: she gives us the tool to open our minds and set ourselves free.

Katie will introduce The Work and participants will have the opportunity to ask questions and to do the work with her. The workshop will include activities and exercises. Participants will also have the opportunity to do the work with each other. Each of Katie's workshops are unique and highly interactive. We are looking forward to sharing a very special time with her and with everyone who attends this first of its kind event in Tokyo.

Since 1986, Byron Katie has worked with millions of people around the world at free public events in universities and schools, corporations, hospitals, churches, prisons, and in weekend workshops, her amazing nine-day School for The Work, and The Institute for The Work. People from all walks of life who have done The Work report profound experiences and lasting transformations in their lives.

Time magazine named Byron Katie a “spiritual innovator for the new millennium, ”The Times of London reported, "Katie's laser-like tough love burns away all illusions.” Eckhart Tolle, the bestselling author of The Power of Now said, “Byron Katie’s Work is a blessing for our planet." And Dr. Wayne Dyer: "Byron Katie is one of the truly great and inspiring teachers of our time."

This workshop will be in English with Japanese translation.
